You build the automation that lets a team ship with confidence instead of crossing their fingers - across web, API and mobile, in one coherent framework.

Manual regression doesn't scale, and stitching together three separate automation stacks for web, API and mobile doesn't either. This role is for an engineer who can design and maintain a single, reusable automation framework spanning all three, so a release can be regression-tested in hours, not days.

You'll write and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Playwright/Cypress for web, REST Assured/Karate for API, and Appium for mobile, wiring all of it into CI/CD so failures surface the moment they're introduced. Framework design matters as much as script-writing here - Page Object Model, data-driven patterns, clean reporting and logging - because the framework has to outlast any single release.

What you'll own

Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts for web, API and mobile applications
Develop reusable automation components and utilities
Automate functional, regression, integration and end-to-end test scenarios
Perform web automation using Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
Perform API automation using REST Assured, Karate or equivalent frameworks
Perform mobile automation using Appium for Android and/or iOS applications
Validate REST APIs - request/response payloads, status codes, headers, authentication and error handling
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines
Analyse automation failures, application logs and test reports
Maintain automation frameworks using design patterns such as Page Object Model
Perform database validation using SQL
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with developers to improve automation coverage and quality

What it takes

3–5 years of QA/test automation experience
Strong hands-on experience in web automation and API automation
Hands-on experience in mobile automation using Appium
Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
REST Assured / Karate or equivalent API automation framework
Strong programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript
Strong understanding of OOP concepts
TestNG / JUnit / PyTest or equivalent test framework
Maven / Gradle or equivalent build tools
Git/version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
SQL and database validation
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON and authentication mechanisms

Performance testing basics
BrowserStack / Sauce Labs or similar device-cloud experience
BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
